Connect with the Unseen at A Night with Spirit in SoulJoel's Melody Room

SoulJoel's will host A Night with Spirit, an event where attendees can connect with loved ones in spirit, receive angelic guidance, and explore the supernatural. Led by clairvoyant Nicole, who has been reading professionally since 2010, the evening offers a mystical experience in a relaxed atmosphere. Tickets are $30, with food and drinks available at Gatsby's Pub before or after the show, and a full bar open during the event. Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the event starts at 7 PM.

Laugh for a Cause: Comedy Fundraiser for

Meals on Wheels at SoulJoel's

SoulJoel’s at Sunnybrook is set to host a Comedy Show Fundraiser on Thursday, October 3, to support Family Services' Meals on Wheels program. The night will feature headliner Kunal C. Arora, a New York-based comedian known for his sharp observational humor and witty sarcasm. Arora’s comedic style, regularly showcased in comedy clubs across New York City, promises an evening of laughter that benefits a worthy cause.

The event will be held at SoulJoel’s at 50 Sunnybrook Road, Lower Pottsgrove. Doors open at 6 PM, with the show starting at 7 PM. Tickets are priced at $20 for general admission and $30 for VIP seating. Guests can secure tickets through the official event page.

Before the show, attendees are encouraged to enjoy a meal at Gatsby’s Pub, with 10% of the bill donated to Meals on Wheels. This initiative adds another layer of support to the evening, helping to sustain a program that has been serving local communities for over five decades.

Family Services’ Meals on Wheels program has been delivering nutritious meals to older adults since 1971. What began with just seven clients has grown to serve approximately 120 individuals daily in Pottstown, Royersford, and the Lower Perkiomen Valley, all made possible by 160 dedicated volunteers. The program offers not just meals, but also social interaction and regular wellness check-ins for seniors, fostering meaningful connections between volunteers and recipients.

Program director Phoebe Kancianic emphasizes that Meals on Wheels delivers more than food—it provides social connection, tailored nutrition, and a sense of security to seniors in need. The continued success of the program is heavily reliant on community support and events like this fundraiser.

Family Services, established in 1900, has long been dedicated to supporting individuals and families in Montgomery County. Their diverse programs address family support, health and wellness, housing, and substance abuse prevention, with Meals on Wheels standing out as a crucial service for older adults.
