Piggy Bowl to Host Donation Drive
for Preston's Pantry Project

Next weekend at Piggy Bowl, all players, cheerleaders, and fans are encouraged to participate in a donation drive for Preston's Pantry Project. This is a wonderful opportunity for the entire community to come together and give back.

The organization is challenging both teams and cheerleading squads to see who can collect the most donations. Items collected will go towards stocking the pantry and supporting those in need. Be sure to check out the list of current pantry needs, which is available in the event post. Your generosity will make a real difference—thank you for your support!

Cast Your Vote! Halloween Display Contest Takes Over Town This Friday

Get ready for a spooky evening this Friday, October 4th, as local businesses invite all witches, ghouls, and goblins to join in on the fun!

From 5-8 PM, the town will host a window display contest, featuring spine-chilling, creative designs from local restaurants and shops. Visitors are encouraged to stroll through town, enjoy the Halloween-inspired displays, and cast their vote for the best one! Participating businesses include The Peppermint Stick Candy Store, Stellar House Gift Shop, Breezeway 1900 Jewelry and Gifts, and many more.

Fall Festivities Await at Boyertown Library’s

Kid Pumpkin Painting Event

The Boyertown Area Library is hosting a fun-filled Kid Pumpkin Painting Party! Children ages 6-12 are invited to celebrate the fall season by decorating their very own pumpkins with paints and creativity. This event is a great way for kids to embrace the autumn spirit while enjoying a hands-on activity. The event requires registration, so be sure to sign up to secure your spot. Don't miss out on the festive fun—come join us for an afternoon of painting and pumpkins!

Buccaneers Dominate Eagles 33-16,

Mayfield Leads with 3 Touchdowns

Baker Mayfield threw for 347 yards and three total touchdowns, leading the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a 33-16 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. Mike Evans became the Bucs' all-time scoring leader, while Tampa Bay's defense sacked Jalen Hurts six times, shutting down the Eagles' comeback attempts.

Nola Earns 14th Win as

Phillies Beat Nationals, Clinch 95 Wins

Aaron Nola earned his 14th win, and the NL East champion Phillies closed the regular season with a 6-3 victory over the Nationals. Kyle Schwarber and Weston Wilson each drove in two runs, while Kody Clemens made a game-ending catch. Philadelphia finishes with 95 wins and now prepares for the NLDS.

Union Settle for 1-1 Draw with Atlanta,

Miss Opportunity to Climb Standings

The Union missed an opportunity to gain ground in the Eastern Conference standings with a 1-1 draw against Atlanta United. Nathan Harriel scored for the Union, but a defensive lapse allowed Saba Lobjanidze to equalize for Atlanta. Despite dominating possession and creating numerous chances, the Union couldn't find a winner, leaving them in ninth place with only 12 points left to play for this season.
