88 Backpacks for Local Kids in Need

The Boyertown United 2013 soccer team has volunteered with Operation Backpack in Pottstown for the past three years. Each season, they help pack backpacks filled with food for children in need, ensuring those facing homelessness or food insecurity receive meals over the weekends. This evening, the team packed 88 backpacks, blending their community service with the development of teamwork and leadership skills.

🤼 Boyertown Wrestling Hosts Info Meeting for Prospective Wrestlers on October 23

The Boyertown Wrestling program is holding an important information meeting for all boys and girls in grades 7 through 12 who are interested in participating in the upcoming wrestling season. Parents or guardians are encouraged to attend the meeting with their wrestler. The meeting will take place on October 23, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. in the High School LGI.

⚾️ Boyertown Bears Set for Weekend Tournament at Spring-Ford High School

This weekend, the Boyertown Bears will be competing in the Fall Ball Tournament at Spring-Ford High School. The action kicks off on Saturday, October 12, with two games. The first game is at 8 a.m. against North Penn Navy at Ram Stadium, followed by a noon match against PAC Select on the JV Field. Sunday's game schedule is yet to be determined. Come out and support the Bears as they battle it out this weekend! 🐻

PennDOT Driver License Centers Closed October 12-14 for Columbus Day

PennDOT driver license and photo centers will be closed from October 12-14, 2024, for Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples' Day. Services, including license renewals and REAL ID pre-verification, remain accessible online 24/7. Pennsylvanians are reminded of the May 2025 REAL ID deadline for domestic air travel.

Then, on Saturday, October 26th, at 10:00 PM, it's time to dress up and enjoy the cult favorite The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
